Regina Cunningham, SLP

Regina Cunningham comes to Speech Therapy Plus with over 40 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Southeast Missouri State University in 1974. She practiced 5 years in public schools in Missouri before moving to Texas. She began practicing in Texas public schools in 1980. Regina has been licensed by the state of Texas since 1984.

Regina has had training in the Picture Exchange Communication System, Hanen Language Program, and augmentative communication devices. She has worked with children exhibiting articulation, language delays, stuttering, voice disorders, autism, and intellectual delays. She was awarded 1997-1998 Stafford Intermediate School Teacher of the Year. She retired from teaching and practicing therapy in the public schools to focus on individual private therapy.
