Aisha Khan

Aisha Khan came to Speech Therapy Plus in September 2017. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then worked as a speech language pathology assistant (SLP-A) at Speech Therapy Plus for one year. She went on to receive an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015 at the University of the District of Columbia. She completed clinical practicums with Rosemount Center, District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), AppleTree Public Charter Schools, and at Washington Armed Forces Retirement Home, which provided experiences in assessing the treating a variety of disorders and severity levels across various ages (toddles to geriatrics).

She has direct experience evaluating and treating individuals in voice therapy and individuals with various voice disorders.

Aisha has completed additional continuing education in areas of Passy-Muir Swallowing and Speaking Valves and early intervention.
