Elizabeth Iverson

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Iversen graduated from the University of Houston in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Psychology. After completing her undergraduate degree, she practiced as an assistant in home health and a pediatric outpatient clinic in Huntsville, TX. She went back to school in 2013 and graduated in 2015 with a Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Texas. While in graduate school, she completed multiple clinical practicums. The first was at Kristen Farmer Autism Center, where she worked with ABA therapists and students from ages 3-8, to increase vocabulary and language skills. She completed her final practicum at Texas Children’s Hospital- West Campus, where she worked on the feeding and swallowing team with OTs.

She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year in the Houston Independent School District. She has continued to work in schools in Washington state and the Houston area. She has worked with a variety of students in different programs including but not limited to autism classes for ages 3-5, nonverbal students with AAC devices, and self-contained classes.
